That would have been, what? March 28. I didn't get up early, which basically meant that I couldn't use my yoga area, since it's in a hall. So I decided it was a good opportunity to try one of the new videotapes, and I chose the Express Warrior practice on the Trudie Styler DVD. It's just 25 minutes.
It became obvious immediately that she's just the celebrity on the tape--she and this other guy (not Sting!) do the practice while a man's voiceover leads the poses. It was interesting, partly because the series was a different school of yoga. It's hard to follow along when you're constantly looking up at the screen, but that would get better with repetition. I liked watching the two of them; they had beautiful form, and I liked the man (whoever it was).
One day this weekend...Saturday?...the kids asked me to do some yoga with them, so we got two mats out and did downward dog, and tree, and savasana, and a couple others. It was good! I don't know if it will be a regular thing, but we all enjoyed it.
